A FRIEND AND A CUSTOMER: KABULA

So a good friend kabula was in our kashop last week to show some love and support.

She was in the process of acquiring a new wardrobe and hence she needed stuff that are different from the usual stuff she wears.As much as she loves 'vitu vya dukani' she was also interested with our designs that we displayed on 'Our Diary' too.Hence, she popped in our shop and grabbed some stuff. OUR DIARY

Hello Dolls and Guys.

How is everyone Doing?

Joyce and I had a Designing & sewing project in our mind for a pretty long time.We actually bought a New sewing machine and we also decided to take a class on how to make our own clothes .However, time is behind us and we are still learners but we are trying our best not only to know how to wear them but also to learn how to make them..

So, for the past few weeks we have been working on some of pieces and we are totally glad to share with you finally.Essentially, the idea behind this project was to prepare some few pieces that are too easy to make, lady like, wearable and affordable.

Its has been a little hard work since we so new to the project and we were wandering about on the Fierce Sun.Fierce that can penetrate the stones of the building and the concrete of the road like crazy trying to source for fabrics in the local markets.We had to draft the patterns ourselves and work hand with hand with our smiler Mentor(Tailor) to make our pieces come to a perceptive.

Furthermore, the shoot was crazy big time but we are so glad that we took them ourselves.We didn't fancy to incur any extra cost hence we have to drop out the professional photographer expenses.We actually didn't see the reason of employing one because we have a camera and we know exactly what we want..So what next? We had to shoot ourselves.and Though it was raining like magic and Stella's flue was oh her neck but nothing stopped us.
